On Sunday, October 21, 2018, we finished off Luke 6 and Luke’s account of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. I asked my congregation two questions; (1) Where’s Your Fruit? & (2) Where’s Your Foundation? The Holy Spirit is within each Christian. Because of the Spirit’s influence on our lives, Christian’s produce good fruit (the Fruit of the Spirit). Someone who is not saved (not a Christian) is unable to produce good fruit because God is not in them. If God is in a Christian, then that Christian is founded on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ and will produce good fruit. If someone is not a Christian, then they are not founded on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ and will NOT produce good fruit (they will only produce bad fruit). Someone who is not founded on Jesus Christ is on the pathway to destruction and an eternity in hell. THE POINT: Make sure you are producing good fruit and that your life is founded on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ.
