On Sunday nights I preach a sermon that is a good
follow up to what we learned in Sunday School earlier in the day. Our current Sunday School unit is titled “How
to Pray.” Each session of the Sunday
School will look at a portion of the Lord’s Prayer from Matthew 6. This week we looked at the second line of the
prayer, “Hallowed be Your name” and focused on including praise in our prayers. So frequently we focus our prayers on
supplication (asking God for stuff) and forget to send praise to God. God calls us to make sacrifices of praise to
Him; which is what I focused on Sunday night.
This Sunday evening, we looked at Hebrews 13:15-16 and how we can make a
sacrifice of praise to God.
