On Sunday nights I preach a sermon that is a good
follow up to what we learned in Sunday School earlier in the day. Our current Sunday School unit is titled “How
to Pray.” Each session of the Sunday
School will look at a portion of the Lord’s Prayer from Matthew 6. This week we looked at the fourth line of the
prayer (verse 11), “Give us this day our daily bread” and focused on praying
for ourselves. Last night I took the
next step in our focus on supplication by figuring out how we can make requests
before God. In looking at 1 John
5:14-15, we found that God ANSWERS our PRAYERS in His OWN WAY; according to His
WILL and in accordance with His WORD.
