On Sunday nights I preach a sermon that is a good
follow up to what we learned in Sunday School earlier in the day. Our current Sunday School unit is titled “How
to Pray.” Each session of the Sunday
School will look at a portion of the Lord’s Prayer from Matthew 6. This week we looked at the third line of the
prayer (verse 10), “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in
heaven” and focused on humbly submitting to the will of God. On Sunday evening I felt led to focus on
finding the will of God. I mean, who
does not want to know what God’s will and plans are for their lives? But you might be asking yourself, “How can anyone
find God’s will?” Well, Paul tells the Christian’s
in Rome that it is possible to “prove what the will of God is.” In studying Romans 12:1-2 we can find out that
it is possible to figure out what God’s will is for our lives.
