Ever see a warning sign or label that just didn’t make sense? Nowadays it seems like everything is labeled with a warning to stop people from misusing the item. Most of the time a warning (whether verbal or written) should be listened too; this is especially true when it comes to a warning from Jesus. In Luke 6:17-26 we read about four blessings and four woes that Jesus gave to those gathered to hear Him preach His sermon on the mount. Followers of Christ are blessed for giving up everything to follow Him. Those who refuse to follow Christ, who refuse to give up anything, are warned of the coming judgment. Where does God line up on your list of priorities? He NEEDS to be number one!
