On Sunday nights we have been talking about the
promises of God. On Sunday morning,
during Sunday School, we studied James 2:1-10.
James 2:5 says, “Listen, my beloved brethren: did not God
choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith
and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love
Him?” Naturally, I decided to focus on
God’s promise of the kingdom to those who love Him. So, Sunday night, I asked the question “What
Kingdom?” Of course, the answer is A Heavenly Kingdom but so frequently we
focus more on “our” kingdom instead of God’s kingdom. We always need to seek the kingdom of God!
